Paws & Prep - Foundations Class
Our Paws & Prep class is designed for dogs with little formal training or those needing to reinforce their skills in a new environment. This foundational class focuses on building calm, polite behavior through positive reinforcement and real-life application.
Class Instruction Includes:

Stays and position holding around distractions

Polite greetings and impulse control (e.g., “Off” and “Leave it”)

Common challenges like jumping, chewing inappropriate items, and ignoring the recall

Mastering Manners - Intermediate Obedience
For graduates of Puppy 2 or Foundations, Mastering Manners helps dogs take their skills to the next level by practicing obedience in more distracting settings. This class focuses on refining reliability, improving communication, and boosting confidence in more complex scenarios.
Class Skills Includes:

Strengthening Stays, Recalls, and Loose Leash Walking

Working with increased distractions (other dogs, movement, sounds)

Building focus, attention span, and handler engagement

Walking in group patterns while maintaining control and connection
This class bridges the gap between basic obedience and advanced off-leash reliability.

Lifelong Learners - Advanced Obedience
Lifelong Learners is our advanced obedience class for dogs who have completed Mastering Manners or Grade School-level training.
This class focuses on the Three Ds: Distraction, Duration, and Distance, helping your dog generalize and fluently perform behaviors in a variety of settings.

Out and About 101
Take your training on the road! Out and About 101 is designed to help dogs and their handlers apply obedience skills in real-world environments. This course focuses on public manners, impulse control, and calm behavior in everyday settings such as store fronts, sidewalks, parks, and more. In this course, we work on:

Practicing sits, downs, and stays in real-world situations

Neutrality around shopping carts, bikes, wildlife, and more

Tails on Trails - Hiking Manners & Trail Skills

Hit the trails with confidence in Tails on Trails, a class designed to prepare you and your dog for safe, enjoyable outdoor adventures. This course focuses on trail etiquette, reliable recalls, leash skills, and polite behavior around people, wildlife, and other dogs. You'll also learn defensive handling techniques to manage encounters with off-leash dogs and maintain control in unpredictable situations.
Whether you're new to hiking with your pup or want to sharpen your trail skills, this class will help build a stronger bond, boost your dog’s trail manners, and keep your adventures fun and stress-free.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep Course
This class prepares you and your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) Test, a national certification that recognizes well-mannered dogs and responsible owners. Our CGC Prep Course focuses on the 10 test items that evaluate your dog’s behavior in everyday scenarios, building a solid foundation of obedience, focus, and polite behavior.
