Help! I've Lost My Dog!
We are so sorry to hear about the lost dogs.
Here are our recommendations:
Most dogs return to where they got lost or left, so make sure you
have a nice surprise for them when they DO come home (food, chewy,
praise, toy, attention) Try to keep an eye out or have an opening for
the dogs where they can return to, possibly back into the fenced yard,
their crate, a familiar vehicle, etc.

Put up flyers in the area including a picture of the dog. Talk to a lot of people - everyone and let them know your dog is missing.
This is to make sure everybody knows the dog is being looked for
and makes it harder for somebody in the area to keep the dog. Their
neighbors might know the dog is being missed somewhere else. Don't
forget the local groomers and pet stores.
As you have noticed, I sometimes forward emails about lost dogs over my
list. This is a service for my long term clients mainly. Also, in the
past this was NOT the way how dogs found back home to their owners. So
I'd prefer to wait a little bit before we use this measurement.
