Safety Policy
By enrolling in any class you will be affirming to the best of your knowledge your dog is suitable for a group class environment. Please contact us if your dog has any history of aggression towards other dogs or people. Aggression can be shown as biting, but also includes snarling, lunging, nipping or similar actions towards other dogs or people. We can discuss your options and the possibility of private lesson before hand.

For our agility or other sports classes, your dog also should be free of any health problems (e.g. musculoskeletal or visual disease) that would increase the risk of injuries to the dog in the class while participating.

To register please complete the registration form below and submit or print (click here for printable form)and mail to The Better Companion. Enrollment is not complete without payment. You will be taken to the payment page upon submitting your registration.

The following health status information will be needed at the first class. If you have the dates available, please fill the fields, otherwise you can leave them blank. The fields are part of the form to make you aware of the requirements, so that you can update anything you need before the class starts.

Reserving your spot in the class: We must receive your payment before your registration is complete. Classes fill quickly so to be assured of a spot in a class send your payment as soon as possible.

You will see the pricing for the different classes, the pre-registration or other discounts, and the payment options on the payment page, after you hit the “Enroll” button. You may choose our online payment method or mail your check to the address at the bottom of the page!

Even if you decide not to pay through our online payment system, please read our cancellation policy:

Cancellation policy: Cancellation fee: there is a $10 fee and any classes paid through PayPal or using a credit card, more than 60 days prior to cancellation, will be charged an additional 5%. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. If you cancel more than five days prior to the class start, we can move your registration over to a later class for no additional cost, or give you a refund minus the cancellation fees. If you cancel any time after that, it will be too late for us to fill your spot, no refund will be given and you’ll have to pay again for a later class.
